Grady Dianganna
Lost his way a bit.
Still young and still bags of potential. Our players know it.
Should we steal him back from West Brom and re-educate him?
Only 22

If we cut our losses on Anderson and manage to get Dianganna back the squad is stronger.

Re: Grady Dianganna
If he was cheap, very cheap, he might be a useful squad player. Problem is WBA would probably want what they owe wiped off so probably not worth it

Re: Grady Dianganna
If the Fat One stays on when they are relegated I suspect they will sell him to another Championship club.
Fulham or QPR maybe

If they arent promoted we are probably better advised looking at Bournemouth ..... havent seen him but good reports about Danjuma (scored against Millwall the other day). And David Brooks is back playing after last seasons injury

Re: Grady Dianganna
He seemed to have the genesis of an understanding with Haller, so maybe Ajax would be a good move for him.

Re: Grady Dianganna
On what evidence do people on here predict Benrahma will "get better" or "come good" next season? The chump is patently out of his depth at Premier League level and has gone almost an entire season WITHOUT SCORING. What a great return for a l£25 million forward/ attacking midfielder/ whatever he is supposed to be.

Diangana and Benrahma are both Championship players not at the required standard for Premier League football. Only West Ham's idiot majority shareholder would sell one and replace him with the other and be out of pocket.

Re: Grady Dianganna
Back up when Bowen etc get tired, quick, strong and can run at players off the bench for 15-20 minutes and would be a handful...

Also great for cup matches etc

Would love to see him back and sure he would want to come back

Re: Grady Dianganna
Diangana likes to make an intelligent pass or try to run at the defenders. BSF disapproves of that kind of shenanigans.

The resurrection of Grady Dianganna

This could be a classic for Moyes.

Re: Grady Dianganna
Talked to baggies fans through work, proper fans and they say that he loved Bilic but really did not want the move, we are his club, then picked up an injury and was rushed back and it never healed properly

All sorts of promises were made to Bilic on budgets which were then retracted, Bilic copped the shits along with players brought in upon that pretext

Allardyce arrived and pissed off half the players, Grady included. His contract runs to the end of the season and players are waiting for him to go, hence the absence of bounce.

Allardyce had the remaining budget not given to Bilic and brought in his own players and with those not dissenting, built something of a side

Grady and others remain outside the core hoping he fucks off, but the consensus is that they have done their dough, albeit, he is young and would do well in the 2nd tier as long as Sam is gone

All over , a mess

Re: Grady Dianganna
I was a bit upset with the way it was handled. But he’s championship level.

PwoperNaughtyButNot 1:10 Fri Apr 23
Re: Grady Dianganna
Allardyce isn’t known for nurturing young players and probably doesn’t think he can risk him in the scrap they are in.

The value of their asset has collapsed. They probably owe us money on the deal. Perhaps we get him back like with Randolph. Great bit of business by us and if Yarmelnko, Lanzini, Anderson and probably Maasuaku are off then there has to be a space for Dianganna and our coaches will know how to get him back on track.

Then money can be spent on a striker and a left back

Re: Grady Dianganna
Yeah I reckon Benrahma will get better next season.

If we offload Lanzini and Yarmolenko, wouldn’t mind seeing Diangana come back to help fill a gap in the squad.

It’s quite alarming that he can’t get into a really poor WBA side though. But then again, maybe he just isn’t an Allardyce player.

I still think benrahma will come good.

Re: Grady Dianganna
Would be have made less or more of a contribution than Benrahma, who effectively replaced him?

And let's not forget that cost us about £10m extra.

When we need a striker, and a left back, and a centre midfielder.

Not seen Snodgrass around for them today but not really checking why .

Re: Grady Dianganna
but he was one of the reason WBA got promoted last time , so I would think he would be a player they would want to keep.

Re: Grady Dianganna
Yeah true but he always seemed to be a bit of a squad player for them.

Nothing wrong with that, of course.

Re: Grady Dianganna
I think Moyes liked him but he was sold.

Stanislas had a half-decent Prem career at Bournemouth.
